The project will deliver the capability to spatially model the lifecycle impacts of offshore wind farms at different locations, decarbonisation opportunities, and create a bottom-up trajectory based on opportunities considered. Additionally, it will allow to produce a carbon spatial layer for Whole of Seabed (WoS), by quantifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the elements of the wind farm infrastructure and operations whose impact is location specific, such as concrete or steel sub-structures, emissions from fuel consumption by vessels used to transport components or for Operations and Maintenance.
