Personal Profile

My name is Alexander, but better known to most as “Alex”.

I love to be in touch with the nature and that is the reason why two of my favourite hobbies are taking care of 100 gallons aquarium with exotic fishes and fishing (catch & release). Also, I try to participate more often in initiatives to increase the fish population in local rivers. Apart from the hobbies I spend most of the free time with my lovely daughter and wife, playing boarding games and doing sport activities.

Favourite hobbies:

• Fishing
• Cycling
• Watching football

Favourite marine creature:

Goliath Grouper Fish, because it could become huge and looks like a dinosaur from the first look, but it is actually a friendly one.

• I can sing
• my daughter’s name means “night rain” in Japanese
• I love driving

Why did you choose this career?:

The software development now days is very often related to fintech, betting or other boring fields. As I mentioned above, I really love to be in touch with nature, so when I got the opportunity to work for TCE, it was not a question.

What do you love about your job?:

It gives value to the people and environment.

I have more than 8 years of experience as a software developer, and I have been working on many different projects in different industries like e-commerce, healthcare, travel agencies and others, but the marine one is one of my favourites.
