The assessment of piling noise as a result of the construction of the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm. A detailed analysis of the measurements has been made which indicated the spatial, temporal and statistical properties of the noise, and evaluated the noise from the piling in terms of its potential for environmental effect. An estimation of the range at which there might be behavioral and physical effects on a selection of common species of fish and marine mammals has been made using both conventional analysis and dB(ht) (species) metric. This data is suitable to provide an initial evaluation of the significance of the noise from the construction of the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm on marine life.
