Description

Adus DeepOcean were contracted by DeepOcean UK1 on behalf of Greater Gabbard Offshore
Wind Limited (GGOWL) to undertake the post construction bathymetry of the Greater Gabbard
windfarm.

The aim of the survey was twofold: firstly to satisfy the consent conditions stipulated within
the Marine Licence (number: L/2013/00076/5) issued by the Marine Management
Organisation and secondly to provide baseline survey data of foundation basis and cable
routes, for engineering purposes.

The survey was conducted between the 1st July and 20th September 2015.

The management of the contract on behalf of the client was undertaken by SSE who are the
operators of the windfarm.

The survey requirements comprise the acquisition of acoustic data along cable routes, around
structures and other subsea features with the following coverage:

· 50m either side of inter array cable routes;
· 50m radius from jack up vessel footprint locations;
· 50m either side of concrete mattresses;
· A boxed area 0f 90x180meters around each monopile
· 50m radius around each OSP (where vessel access permits);
· 20m either side of inter array cable routes in the region of the Inner Gabbard and Galloper sandbanks.
· 50m either side of export cable routes;
