2005, QinetiQ, Gwynt y Mor Offshore Wind Farm, Oil and Gas Helicopter Assessment

This study looks into the impact of the proposed Gwynt y Mor Offshore Wind Farm owned by npower renewables on helicopter operations to the Douglas and Hamilton platforms. The survey looks at the current operation conditions and the models the effects of the proposed wind farm on the operations using operational procedures approved by the Joint Aviation Authority (JAA).
