This Flood Investigation Study has been carried out for a proposed electrical substation at Cleve Hill,
which is one kilometre north of the village of Graveney, Kent at OS grid reference TR 050 638. The
site is one kilometre south of the Swale, which flows into the Thames Estuary, in an area known as
Cleve Marshes.
