This month began with a collective sigh of relief – the cohort made it through the mid-point review.

The presentations were varied, both in style and content, but all showed personality and were peppered with humour. It was a wonderful - if nerve-racking - way of sharing our respective experiences, progress and achievements. Not to mention our first reunion since the Crown Estate week this summer.

The rest of the month has taken all of us out to the beach and/or onto the water for some practical marine work – from seal surveys to citizen science projects to testing sophisticated tidal equipment. Marine Interns in their natural habitat!
