This month has seen us all spending more time in our internship regions and settling into a steadier work rhythm. Each internship has been focussing on their main projects with lots of planning, meeting with partners, and starting to collect data to analyse! It’s going to be really exciting seeing what everyone has been working on for their main projects at our mid-point presentations in September.

The summer is also monitoring and survey season, so everyone has been out in the field surveying a variety of marine fauna and flora. We have all been involved in various engagement events across our partners as well, many of which are outside, so it's been lovely to work in the sun whilst educating people about the marine environment.

Finally, we have all been working on our individual projects which are starting to take shape with a really interesting variety of topics covered by everyone. We've been starting to collate the information we’re going to present to each other in September, and it will be nice to catch up with everyone again!
